BATESVILLE, Ind. – Global Atlantic Financial Group has announced the hiring of funeral industry veteran Kelly Milberger as senior vice president, national sales manager for the company’s preneed life insurance business. Milberger will lead a sales force responsible for serving and expanding the company’s distribution footprint, helping funeral homes and agencies grow their preneed programs for funeral and memorial planning.
Milberger is a respected industry leader with a long track record of success. She spent 15 years holding various sales and sales leadership positions at Stewart Enterprises. Most recently, as vice president of Sales Effectiveness, she built a sales organization that consistently produced more than $35 million in sales annually.
“Our ability to attract someone of Kelly’s caliber to this role reinforces Global Atlantic’s increasing presence in the industry,” said David Mullen, President of Preneed Life for Global Atlantic. “Kelly is well known in the funeral industry, and she has an outstanding track record of success. Most importantly, she shares our passion for helping our clients grow their preneed programs.”
With Global Atlantic, Milberger reconnects with her past. Prior to her stint at Stewart, she worked in sales for Forethought Life Insurance Co., which was purchased by Global Atlantic in 2014. Forethought, a pioneer in the preneed industry, was rebranded Global Atlantic after the purchase.
“Global Atlantic’s preneed franchise is well-established, and I’m looking forward to building on its success, helping firms leverage our capabilities to better serve their communities,” Milberger said.
