Speakers at the Cremation Innovations Summit include:
Justin Baxley, senior vice president of business development at Foundation Partners Group, will deliver a presentation titled “Sharing Life by Design: A Guide to Relevant Cremation Services.”
Welton Hong, founder of Ring Ring Marketing, will focus on “Outranking the Competition Online.”
Nectar Ramirez, director of customer training at Batesville, will delve into “How to Help Cremation Information Seekers.”
Steve Jones, director of strategic business solutions at Matthews Aurora Funeral Solutions, will focus on “Best Practices in Positioning Cremation Products and Services.”
Brent Taylor, founder of Brentwood Funeral Services, a collection of premier funeral homes with several locations in Tennessee and Mississippi, will share how he’s boosted market share and profits by “Embracing Cremation as a Profit Center.”
The Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice has approved the summit for 5.25 hours of continuing education, which Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut and numerous other states automatically accept. Kates-Boylston Publications, which is hosting the summit, is also seeking CEU approvals from other states that do not automatically recognize Academy approval.
The summit is being sponsored by Implant Recycling, Thacker Caskets and Ring Ring Marketing; other leading death-care suppliers are expected to sign on as sponsors to show their support of cremation education.
